Thank you for reading my post.  I am searching for information on John Costelloe and/or Mary Maloney, both were born approximately 1840, at unknown.

They gave birth to a daughter Helena "Ellen" Bridgit Costelloe of Milltown, Abbeydorney, Kerry County on 21 July, 1863.

Any information about the person or parents would be greatly appreciated.  I have searched all the other links provided, as well as Ancestry.com.

I know Ellen Costelloe emigrated to the USA and died in 1933, she was my Great Grandmother.

Best regards!

Terry

  • Terry:

I can't tell if you have looked at www.irishgenealogy.ie which has Co. Kerry church records. I looked quickly and found a baptismal record for a Bridget Costelloe (see below). It appears she would be an older sister to your Helena "Ellen".

I think if you do some more searches, you will find other siblings and maybe the marriage record for John and Mary and maybe their baptismal records.

  • Roger, thank you for your great assistance.  I was also able to locate and confirm birthdates and Baptism dates for "Ellen's" twin sisters Bridget & Johanna and I also located birthdate and baptism date for one brother John.  It's was a huge leap, all in one night.

The quest continues!  Thanks again for your generous time.

    Best regards,

    Terry
