Recently, I have discovered that my 3rd great grandparents, Thomas Ryan and Mary Mulcahy, gave birth to a son John Ryan who was baptized in Portlaw on Aug 18 1844. The sponsors were Edmund Roach and Mary Brien. Thomas and Mary (Mulcahy) Ryan were married in Kill, Co. Waterford on Jul 28 1843 with William and Honor Mulcahy as witnesses.
Any information about these families would be appreciated, and/or a way to hone in on the place of "Kill".
Thank you,
Maureen
