Many thanks for your query to Ireland Reaching Out.  If possible, do you have any dates for the above family members?  Even a rough guess would be a big help.  In addition, death certificates might reveal their parents names, and this can further identify a parish.  Were their sons, John and James born in Ireland or in the U.S.? 

If you go into the Clare County Library website at www.clarelibrary.ie/genealogy, you will find information through Griffith's Valuation, The Tithe Applotment Books whereby you can plug in the name of "John Donohoe" and a number of parishes will come up with that name.  It is one way to start, but may be very tedious.  As above, if you had a little bit more information, you could narrow your search down a lot quicker.
