Searching for ggrandparents and family Maloney/Murray

I have been on this website since it started with no luck in finding my family. But I think I have found new info. My ggrandparents, Denis Moloney/Maloney and Margaret Murray, had at least 2 children, Peter, born about July 1, 1845 and Mary born about 1849. This is the only information I have of them in Ireland. 

 Peter came to Boston, MA through New York, NY about September, 1862. His sister Mary came to Boston as well, married a William Goodwin in Boston and had 2 daughters, Mary and Margaret. Peter's naturalization records say he came from Galway ( no mention of a townland) but after an exaustive search on the internet and trips to County Galway, I haven't had any luck finding them. 

After more searching in Griffiths valuation and the 1901 census of Ireland, I have found a Denis Moloney, 98, and Margaret Moloney, 90, in the 1901 census in Muingacarren, Feakle, County Clare. As this area is so close to the Galway border, I wonder if the "Galway" Denis referred to on his naturalization papers was the the port he left from.

 Peter, my great grandfather, married a Sarah Gleason from Ireland in Boston (? where in Ireland) and had 10 children. Denis, Joseph, Thomas, Peter, Michael, Richard, Sarah, Mary, Stephen, William. Peter J. Maloney is my grandfather. He married a Catherine Hickey in Boston and had one child, my father, Richard.
