My grandfather William Stapleton had a son John francis Stapleton born1915 in new york,his wife died and he brought him back to Tipperary for his parents to look after him,then William went back to new york.i would love to find anything about John thank you trish.

Thank you very much for your message. I hope that someone can be of assistance. it will be much easier however, if you can narrow down where in Tipperary they returned to. Do you have any documentation pertaining to the family that mentions any place names at all? Do you know the names of William?s parents? Remember to post as much information as you can with regard to the people you are researching. The more information you post, the more likely it is that one of our volunteers will be able to advise or assist you. Also include information concerning which sources you may have already used so others may further your search.
