Searching for information on Robert McNamara (or MacNamara) born abt.1800 in New Ross, County Wexford, Ireland. Moved to Nova Scotia and/or New Brunswick, Canada. He married Judith Ann Gammon (1810-1901) on 30 Nov. 1828, in Nova Scotia, Canada. Appeared on census of Chatham, Northumberland, New Brunswick in 1861 and 1871. Robert died before 1871. He may have served in the British Army.
Son Robert Youn McNamara (1831-1899) was a shoemaker. Unknown if father was shoemaker, also.
