I am looking for John McCarthy born in Co. Clare in Sept. 7,1839. His father's name was also John McCarthy, born circa 1815. His mother's maiden name was Susan Mulvihill born in 1808, probably from the same general area. John Sr. Died in Ireland while John Jr and his mother and brothers Anthony and Dan in the 1850's came to Keokuk, Iowa U.S. John died in 1886 while his mother lived until 1904. Thank you.
