Hi all, great to find a resource like this!
I am looking for detail on a lady by the name of Sarah Pendy (nee Drew) who I believe was married in Kilballyowen. I have documentary evidence that proves her daughter, Elena Pendy (my Great-Great- Grandmother) married my Great-Great-Grandfather in Castlegregory Co Kerry in 1839.
We believe the Pendy's came from Kilballyowen, and were fishermen who would have regularly travelled to West Kerry from the Loop.
One other piece of information handed down to us is that Sarah was originally from Wales. (Not sure how reliable this is though).
Would appreciate any information!
