Hi there,

 

I am looking for family in Ireland, we think that my Grandmothers family came from County of Clare, we dont know which Parish. Her mothers name was Anne Griffin and her parents were Patrick Griffin and Bridget Kilmartin (maiden name). I am trying to find info on any Griffins or Kilmartins from this area.

    I found a civil marriage index record in 1878 for a Patrick Griffin and a Bridget Kilmartin in the Ennistymon registration district. I looked thru the 1901 census and found a record for a Patrick Griffin with a wife Bridget and a number of children including a daughter age 6 named Anne. They were living in Doonsallagh East townland in Kilmurry civil parish which is in the Ennistymon registration district.
