Grattan/Gralton: James Grattan and Julia Brennan: Married abt 1820. Need record.
Both were born in co Roscommon. Lived in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Julia's parents: James and Denis Brennan.
James & Julia's children: Mary, Peter, James, Owen, Ellen, Timothy, Thomas (?). Need birth/baptismal records (approx 1835 - 1850).

I checked Roots Ireland which is a pay site to view actual records. They have an 1837 baptismal record for a Peter Gratton born to a James Grattan and a mother with the surname Brennan. The record is in the Croghan RC records which includes Killukin parish.The mother's first name was not Julia so she probably went by another name. Roots www.rootsireland.ie is a pay site to view records. Roots currently has a 40% off special until 1/6. You may want to register and look for the records.
The baptism records start in 1811 but the marriage records start in 1825 which is later than the date of the James/Julia marriage.
