Great to have found you
I have been told that the Carsons came to Co Mayo as Weavers. They were brought down from the north by the Earl of Arran maybe in the 1700's.
They settled in the Ballysakeery area and many are buried there. Is anyone out there looking for Carsons and does anyone know if this story is true?
