I am looking for information about Michael Shea, born 2/14/1842.  As to place, information from another researcher says "Farriter Dingle Curragieg".  Parents were Daniel Shea born 1811 in County Kerry and Hanora Fitzgerald born 1817 in Dingle, Moortown, County Kerry.  Michael and parents came to the United States, arriving before 1858.  (There may have been other siblings; I'm not sure.)  Michael and Hanora settled in Louisville, Kentucky.  Daniel died in 1863 probably somewhere in Kentucky.  Hanora had at least three more children in the United States.  Thank you.  Sharon in Washington State (US west coast north of California)

The record below is likely the baptismal record that the other researcher provided. This baptism was in the parish of Ballyferriter (corresponds to the Farriter in your note). The townland was likely Curragraigue rather than Curragieg. There are three townlands with this name but only one is on the Dingle peninsula. The specific parish is Kilquane. Also, the Moortown in your note is likely Moorestown which is another townland in Kilquane civil parish.

You can go to www.irishgenealogy.ie and search for baptismal records for siblings or possibly the marriage record for the parents.
