My ggg-grandfather was Andrew Joseph Broderick his wife was either called Oner (as written on the UK census records), Hannah (also on the UK census records) but I also believe her name could have been Norry, Honoria, maiden name unknown. They had the following children: Micheal (b.1834), Mary (b.1835), Bridgett (b.1839), Honora? (b.1841), John (b.1844) and my gg-grandfather Martin (b.1848). All children were born in Ireland as shown on the 1851 Census. They moved to Macclesfield, Cheshire between 1848 and 1851. On the 1881 Census, Martin added Galway as his place of birth although this is the only record showing Galway, all others just say Ireland. The National Archives of Ireland show no Census records in 1841 for Andrew in Galway, although the 1821 census shows a possible Martin and Bridgett in Athenry (possibly Andrew's parents).

Hi Amanda
I couldn't find a birth/baptism record for Andrew but have 1 for Michael in 1834 on www.rootsireland.ie/ (a site which charges)
However the father's name is not Andrew but mother is Honor
I went through putting first letter of father's first name in til I got a match - J then tried a few J names to get John
Mary is there with same parents 1838
Bridget is 1844 but father not John or Andrew!
Couldn't find Honor; there are 3 for John but none with father Andrew or John or Joseph!
Any suggestions?
