I'm searching for my O'Connor ancestors. My great-great grandfather Michael arrived in Melbourne Australia in about 1855. He soon after married Anne Shannon (of Kilrush, County Clare) in 1859. The marriage certificate advises that Michael came from Tipperary and that his parents names were Patrick O'Connor and Johanna Brown. Patrick's occupation was given as butcher. Michael's age was give as 23 in 1859.

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
