Hi! I'm trying to find any information on my Great great grandparents and their children. I know that my great grandfather MICHAEL CASEY GRIFFIN was born in Kilmaley Parish, Co. Clare, on June 13, 1873, to PAT GRIFFIN and MARGARET CASEY. Margaret was born around 1831 and was listed as a visitor of her daughter, Bridget, in the 1911 census. Michael then came to America with his brother PAT GRIFFIN, who was born October 1, 1969. They left at least one brother, JOHN (JACK) Griffin, who lived in Loughburke in the 1930's.
They also had at least one sister, BRIDGET GRIFFIN, who could have gone by Budgie, Biddie and/or Berthan. She came to New York in the late 1800's and stayed for nine years, before moving back home to settle down. She married SIMON MCCARTHY and they lived on Ballylean, Killadysert, Clare in the 1930's. They had 5 children, 3 girls MADGE MCCARTHY, MINNIE MCCARTHY, AND MAI MCCARTHY, and two boys, the youngest of whom was BOB MCCARTHY, who moved to Chicago, Illinois, United States, in 1930.
I've hit a brick wall with all the Griffins and Casey's in the area in the 1870's so I'm hoping that there may be some relatives who can help me fill in missing pieces. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Jagriff,
We are related! Your great grandfather can be found here:
http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/genealogy/don_tran/bmd/baptism…
Although he is listed as Griffy not Griffin.
My great-great grandfather was James Griffin who was their first born, in 1858. James birth can be found here:
http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/genealogy/don_tran/bmd/baptism…
I found James Marriage Cert today and it stated that he was from Loughburke and his father was Pat Griffin. So this is how I found them.
Kind Regards,
Barry
