Shinrone is a village and civil parish in Co. Offaly (formerly Kings Co.) on the border with Co.Tipperary.

I don't believe there are records back to the early 1700s. If the family was Church of Ireland, Roots Ireland has records back to 1741. Roots is a subscription site. Catholic records start 100 years later.
