I'm looking for information on Edmond Finn who was born Nov. 1897, Farthingville, Dromina, Co. Cork.

He was born out of wedlock to parents Edmond Finn (b. 1859) and Honora Barry ( b. 1866).

I can't find Edmond Jnr in the 1901 census, however I find him in 1911 living in Balls Lane, Charleville with a widowed aunt, Hannah O'Sullivan ( nee Barry) and her daughter Bridget.

The trail goes cold here and I can't find out what happened to him. 

He doesn't appear to have been brought  up (to my knowledge) with my grandmother and her brothers and sisters at Farthingville (his half brothers and sisters). 

If there's any light that anybody can shine on this mysterious grand uncle, I would most grateful.

    Hi Edward, unfortunately the record trail for Ireland does go cold after 1911, there are no further records public.  You could order a death certificate maybe as you have both parents names and date of birth. You can order this online fromhttp://www.hse.ie/eng/services/list/1/bdm/Certificates/

    Thanks for the helpful information. I 'll have a look at that link, and see what I can come up with.

    It's a shame that there aren't other public records after this date.
