I am searching for information on Robert Robinson, father George and mother Mary.

George b.1746

Mary b.1756

Robert b.1790

All were residents in house 11, Liscrievan. Derryvullan (Derryvoiln) Fermanagh in the 1821 census.

I have posted in Templecarn and Magheraculmoney parishes on here looking for Robert. Im trying to find this chain link that has evaded us for over 15 years. Any info to discredit or confirm would be much appreciated.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out and apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

Were your Robinson ancestors Church of Ireland? Records for those areas dated from 1868 at Muckros and another in Templecarn where records begin in 1825.

It may be the case that the records don't exist and this is why you are coming up blank. As a result you may find that you will have to gather as much information as you possibly can in the hope that records of some sort or another will become available. I find Claire Santry's blog and the website of the Irish Genealogical Research Society invaluable or keeping up to date on new record releases.

Sorry that we can't be of more help at this stage

  • Tell me more about where Robert Robinson lived later in life.....did he remain in Derryvullan parish or did he possibly move to Inishmacsaint parish towards Belleek. An area called Whealt, closest church Slavin, part of Inishmacsaint Parish.
