My 2xGreatgrandmother Catherine Kennedy of Templemore was sent to Australia aged 14 on the Irish Girls Orphan Ship "The Pemberton" in 1849.

Her parents were William Kennedy and Margaret Star(r) and lived in Goal (Bank) Street templemore in the townland of Forest.

Catherine had three younger siblings born in Templemore

Catherine's mother Margaret Starr Kennedy was born in Nenagh in 1809 to William Starr and Margaret Ryan.

Thank you
