Looking for family of my grandfather

I can?t see a birth in 1867 for George in Killadysert but there is one in 1868 (Killadysert 1868 Vol 9, page 375). You might want to order that to see if it might be your relative. It would also give you a townland and other information with which to search further. (You could then search parish records for siblings). John O?Shea and Patrick are both common name sin the area and there are numerous births for those names. George is fortunately less common.

You have to download and print off the form. Then either post or fax it back to them. You can?t e-mail it to them. However if you want them to e-mail the cert to back to you, they will do that, so tick the relevant box.

Put the reference details on the form (anywhere). Don?t worry about leaving some boxes blank. As long as GRO have the location, name(s), year, quarter (where there is one), volume and page number they should find it.

I suggest you also obtain a copy of his English marriage certificate to get his father?s name and occupation to compare with the birth certificate to see if they tie in.
