Searching for My Irish Roots ...

I am searching for my ancestors from Ireland, I do have some information which has been backed up with documentation from RootsIreland.ie, United States National Archives, Boston Pilot Catholic Newspaper, United States Federal Census and some letters from the Kilbeheny Parochial House.

I have been researching since 2013 for my Sisk family members, which lead to the Mahoneys and then the Noonans. I was in contact with Conor O'Brien. He was forwarded my research request from the Klbe heny website and suggested I post here in hopes of reaching others whom might have some information.

This is what know and have documentation to back it up.

John Michael Sisk, Jr my grandfather, was adopted by John Michael Sisk Sr (his biological granduncle).

John Michael Sr. baptised in Kilbeheny on February 10, 1849; His brother, David was baptised October 13, 1851...both address Unkn., Kilbehenny, Co. Limerick. Have both Church Baptismal records from RootsIreland.ie and letters on Parochial House of Kilbeheny signed by John Kelly, P.P. which certifies the information for the baptismal records for John and David Sisk dated March 26, 1901.

Their parents John Sisk and Mary Mahoney married on February 16, 1847, address Unkn., Kilbehenny, County Limerick from the Church Marriage record from RootsIreland.ie

Mary Mahoney baptised December  1, 1828 (Shrove, Kilbehenny, County Limerick - Church Baptism record from RootsIreland.ie)

Philip Mahoney and Norry (Nony?) Noonan married on February 14, 1828, address: Shrove, Kilbehenny, County Limerick.

I am putting John Sisk's birth as abt, 1825, his age on the passenger list manifest is 26 when he emigrated to the United States. He arrived in the port of New York on July 7, 1851 aboard the Wm D Sewell from Liverpool. Also guessing this left Liverpool around June 25, 1851 (travel research aboard a steam vessel from Liverpool to New York was ten days, give or take a couple days)

When Mary arrived in the United States and settled in Bloomington, Illinois she placed an ad in the Boston Pilot Catholic newspaper under Missing Family and Friends on Septeber 27, 1856 seeking information on John. This showed John was from Carrigeen Mountain, when he arrived in the U.S., and whom he had been staying with.

I have more and am willing to provide copies of what I have. Any guidence is greatly appreciated.
