Can someone tell me why Baptismals for children of Glencoh are sometimes recorded in Rosmuck and other times recorded in Kilcummin Oughterard?

Dear Bob
Apologies for the long delay in getting back to you.
Do you have a case of multiple baptisms of children from one family in different churches or are you talking about baptism and birth records? A difference between the civil and church records would mean a different registration process
Best wishes

My question was answered by Peadar Ó Mainin:
Glencoh's a villege in Parish of Ros Muc in the townland of Turlough in the Barren of Oughterard. Till the 1840s Kilcummin was the Parish , Killcummin is the Parish of Oughterard today.
Thank you Peadar,
Bob
