I could not find a civil marriage index record for Daniel and Mary. When you mention Mountmellick, I assume you mean the town in Co. Laois? Do you know when the sons were born?

Eleanor...My name is Mark Mulvihill and my grandfather William was originally from Mountmellick..He left to marry my grandmother in Cork.

I would love to find some information on him from the time he lived in Mountmellick.. He died one month after I was born in 1959.

Mark - I am Pamela (above). I believe we are first cousins as William was also my grandfather. He died in January 1960. Mary McCormack and Daniel Mulvihill were his parents. He and one brother, Thomas, appear on the 1901 census at Mountmellick with their mother Mary and their grandmother Eliza McCormack.
