I have records for the family of Edmund and Bridget Shaughnessy. Bridget Hannon was born in Bruff on Feb. 6, 1826. She married Edmund and they had the following children. Patrick who was born on Nov. 5 1852 in Manister. He emigrated to the US in 1874. He married Katherine Ryan who was born in Ireland. Mary was born April 1855 in Fedamore. James was born March 1860 in Fedamore. He also emigrated to the US but later than his brother, Patrick. Edmund was born August 1862 in Fedamore. Tom was born May 1865 in Fedamore. Margaret was born Sept. 1869 in Fedamore. Bridget was born June 1870 in Mungret.
I would love to connect with any living family of Edmund and Bridget Shaughnessy. I am also interested in information about their children that stayed in Ireland.

Apologies for the long delay - I have contacted the volunteer again.
In the meantime you could use rootsireland.ie or familysearch.org to see if you can find any marriage records to take you a further generation this side. The 1901 and 1911 Census are the most recent Census available here:
