Hi,

My great grandmother - Mary Bridget POWELL CASEY was born in Mullaghroe in 1845 (according to her emmigration papers).  I'm not exactly sure where Mullaghroe is since there seem to be several but I understand there is a Lower and Upper Mullaghroe in co Kildare and my mother and aunt used to speak frequently of TIMOLIN, so perhaps this is the correct area.  Mary Bridget POWELL married Patrick CASEY, who worked for the Irish Railroad.  My grandmother was born in Baltinglass and at some later time moved  in / near the village of MOONE in co Wicklow where they rented a cottage and farm "on the road to the big grey house" according to my mother.  I have no other information on either family prior to these great grandparents and would love to know anything.  My husband and I will be coming to Ireland in November of this year and are so excited!! We will be able to rent a car and drive to these family areas.  Thanks for any help anyone may be able to give me.
