Hi there
William Kavanagh's death certificate should tell how he died. He died in 1899 aged 35. Death record details:
William Kavanagh, Carrick-on-Suir, July-Sept 1899 vol. 4 page 294
send these reference details to the General Register Office, Convent Road, Roscommon, Ireland along with €4 and within a few days the postman will arrive with the answer to your question.
If you discover from the cause of death on the cert that there may be a bigger story ie. 'gored by a rhinoceros', 'died from lead poisoning from gunshot wound' etc you may wish to check the local newspapers for the gorey details
good wishes -Tony
