Hi Richard,
It is better for people to answer your query on the message board here rather than emailing you personally, as the information might help jog memories or assist others looking for the same or similar information. Pooling the information benefits all!
Do you know what religion they were?
There are Roman Catholic church records available for the diocese of Clogher (Clogher). These date from 1856 for baptismal records and 1825 for marriage records. These can be found at the National Library of Ireland, Pos. 5567, or the Public Records of Northern Ireland MIC.1D/10; C.R.2/14. If you have any difficulty, you could try writing to the parish priest for more assistance. Try checking for the church records here: http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/
You could also try checking the land records called the Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38) or the later Griffth's Valuation (1848-64). Griffith's is freely available here: www.askaboutireland.com or here: www.failteromhat.com Failte Romhat has lots of other useful links you could try looking at, such as the 1796 Spinning Wheel Premium lists.
There are workhouse records for Clogher dated 1842-9. These can be found on the Church of Latter Day Saints, ref. no. 259162-3. The Public Records of Northern Ireland (PRONI) also has them here: http://www.proni.gov.uk/
Please make sure you link anyone else in your family who is interested in their Irish heritage to our site - and indeed anyone else you know of Irish heritage.
Kind regards,
Sinead Cooney
