Looking for any descendants of the Greadys in Freshford in the early 1800s esp a Marrin Gready and Judith Purcell? Trying to establish if our Roscrea family originated in Freshford. I am descended from a Martin Gready born in Roscrea in 1825

You may want to check out the Freshford RC register http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0985 On Roots Ireland I found the following seven baptismal records in the Freshford records for Martin Grady/Gready and Judith Purcell:
1812 Michael 1814 Catherine 1816 James 1819 Mary 1822 John 1824 Sarah 1827 Judith

Yes - thanks for that - and I do have those entries, which is what has led me to trying to see if I can contact anyone who may have oral history re a connection between the Freshford Gready of the 19th century and our Gready family who appear to have moved to Roscrea in or around 1810. We think they are connected, but hoping someone in Freshford or Roscrea may be able to help.
