The 1850 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Fedamore civil parish shows four harty records including a Michael in Fanningstown. If your Michael was still living in 1850, possibly this is his record.

Roots Ireland has a number of Harty baptismal records (10) in Manister parish in the 1830s and early 1840s where the father was Michael and the mother's maiden name was Barry. Possibly there were two or more Michael Hartys married to a Barry. However, right now Roots has some technical issue sna I can't open records.

The 1901 census for Fanningstown did not shown any Harty records but there was two households with a Barry.

Here is the link to the online parish register for Manister http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0883   Records go back to 1806 but there is a gap with the baptismas in the 1820s.

Thank you so much for your help, I went to the 1850 Census for Fedamore and don't think it would be my family because the family at that address the family names are Michael Margaret and Roger.  My ancestors were Michael Johanna and Michael.  I will go to the parish registers at NLI and will do a search there..

If you have a Ancestry page what is your User name. Mine is Shawn Harty.  You should also be able to find me tree by doing a search on Michael harty b.1853 Limerick, Ire, d. 1910 Lawrence, Mass.

If you have not done your DNA thru Ancestry.com I reccomend it. It helped me confirm my GG Grandparents on my G Grandmothers side Ellen O'Brien.  I do see strong DNA connections to some Barry's and Fitzgeralds. For example, is Mary Fitzgerald (b. Limerick) who Married William Goodall in Victoria in 1853 related to your fitzgeralds ?  

Regarding your post, when I do a public tree search on Michael Harty and Johanna Barry, I see lots of trees with the same marriage date you have come up. but it shows Michael from Kerry and says he was born in 1808. It says his parents were Edmond Harty and Johanna William. Which search Rootsirealnd for Michael Harty 1808 nothing comes up.  

In looking up Michael Harty and Johanna Barry with children Ellen 1837 and Michael 1844 but does not list Johanna 1833 and Cathern 1835.
