Hickeys from Gortnahoe Parish

My great great grandparents were both baptised at Gortnahoe. Both surname HICKEY, Patrick and Johanna.

Johanna Hickey daughter of Thomas Hickey and Ellen Bannon bap April 1829. Thomas and Ellen had eight other children that I have found. The earliest was Hugh Hickey baptised in 1826 at Gortnahoe. The children were probably all born at Lisduff. I have not been able to find a marriage record for Thomas Hickey and Ellen Bannon.

Patrick Hickey son of John Hickey and Margaret Power was baptised 18 May 1829 at Gortnahoe. No other siblings have been found although family myth suggests he may have had a sister called Brigid. John Hickey and Margaret Power were married at Killenaule on 24 Jan 1819 – so I’m guessing that there should have been other children born before Patrick in 1829. Witnesses to the marriage John Butler and Charles Power. John and Margaret Hickey were resident in Longfordpass North.

I have not been able to find any parents for my 3x grt grandparents.
