Q. What Townland is named in the baptism of Daniel Mahony?

It looks like Menadera. I looked at some other nearby baptisms and saw a Moonaderra. In either case, there is no official townland with either name. Townlands were not officially adopted until the 1851 census so likely it was a placename in 1832 and may still be a "local" place name in the parish.

We don't have a parish liaison in the area but let me check with someone to see if they have an opinion.

Thank you so much for the rapid response! I was assuming that Moonaderra/Menadera must be a place with Kilbehenny but it would be wonderful to have it pinpointed!  Google failed me :(

I have not found a marriage record for Michael and Margaret (Carroll) Mahony but they previously resided in the Townland of Loughananna, based on 30 January 1826 baptism of their eldest known child, Honora.
