My Great Great Grandfater was Patrick Sheehy, b: 1807 in Limerick, and d: 1847 in Mahoonagh Parish, near Newcastle West. His wife was Mary Duane (b: 1808), my GG Grandmother. I have no other information on Mary and I am having difficulties finding out more information on Patrick.
According Griffith Evaluation, there was a Mary Duane from Killeedy Parish. When I did a search for any Duanes in Killeedy on this website, it told me to come to this Parish page. I have not been able to find any other info on Mary Duane Sheehy, and cannot verify that this is even the same Mary Duane that married my GG Grandfather. Since Killeedy and Mahoonah were close to each other, I thought I would take a shot in the dark.
Does anyone out there have any information on the Duane's from Killeedy, especially if it connects them to the Sheehys?
Thanks in advance,
Bob Sheehy

Bob:
Not sure why the Killeedy parish page refers you to Tournafulla which is the RC parish for the area. I will alert our HQ staff about this issue. We do have a parish liaison for Killeedy parish and I will alert her of your message.

Hello Bob, I have recently noted your message and I may have sent you a message to advise you that I am trying to make contact with a Duane who resides in Newcastle West, fingers crossed he may be of some help to you in your search for relatives or at least some history. Have you found out anything further since your last contact? you can e-mail me direct on killeedy1@irelandxo.com meantime I will continue looking.
Good Luck your end
