Looking for my great-great grandmothers family. I believe she was born in this parish and came to Canada in the 1830's. Don't really know much more about here except that she lived surrounded by many other Magills in Canada. Trying to find how she fits in to all of them.

The 1828 Tithe Applotment listings for Crosserlough civil parish show eight Magill records in four different townlands.
You don't mention the religious denomination of the family but if they were RC then records would not be available because they begin in 1843. http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0826
