II have been to Ireland many times, always researching and adding additional information as I can. The furthest that I have been able to go back is the baptism of Anne Roughan birth approx 1839. Anne Neylan Estimated birth year:abt 1839 Date of Registration:Apr-May-Jun 1924 Death Age:85 Registration district:Scarriff Volume:4Page:241 FHL Film Number:101736 When we went to the parish, the priest looked in the records. It was very hard to read, It appeared that her father was Michael Roughan b.1809 d.1896 Michael Roughan Estimated birth year:abt 1809 Date of Registration:Oct-Nov-Dec 1896 Death Age:87 Registration district:Tulla Volume:4Page:291FHL Film Number:101599 Feb 21 1871 Anne married Patrick Neylon (sometimes spelled Neilon) Anne Roughan Date of Registration:1871 Registration district:Tulla, Ireland Volume:4Page Number:750FHL Film Number:101251 Records on Page:Name Patrick Nealon Anne Roughan Oral history is that Anne Roughan's mother was McInerney (no first name) Patrick & Anne resided in Caherealla, Quin and are buried in the chapel along with their son Thomas and his wife. They had children, Margaret 1871 immigrated to the USA and Married Martin Kerrigan and lived in Freehold, NJ. John Neylon, b. 1873 and died in NYC in 1922. Thomas Neylon, b.1875 c.1941 married and stayed in Quin.Patrick Neylon, b.1878 d.1968.married and died in NYC. Mary Ann Neylon, b.1880 d.1976, married in NYC and died in NJ. (My grandmother).Bridget Neyloan, b.1885, Married James McCarthy (from Tulla area) in NYC and died abt 1965, leaving one son John McCarthy, a NYC Police officer. I would like to find the names of any of Anne Roughan's siblings, Her mothers first name (if McInerney). and any siblings. It was thought that the Roughan family resided in Tulla because they were removed from the land where they had lived. Would also like to find out any information on Patrick Neylaon, parents, siblings,
I will be in Ireland during November 2016.
Any direction or help would be appreciated. I viewed the great video about the Ireland XO in Tulla. I have done DNA with the three major companies and have tested three siblings of Thomas Neylon still alive. Paddy Neylon still lives in the home place in Quin, sister Theresa is in nursing home in Scariff, and sister Mary lives in Dublin.
Thank you for any help you can give.

HI mary. My ancestors are also from Tulla. Now Australia.
Can you tell me the title of the video which Ireland XO had on Tulla? I would love to have a look at it also.
Some McInerneys migrated to Australia also, and that is where a marriage with my Dwyer relative took place generations later.
Good luck with your searches.
Roisin.

I highly recommend that you read ‘Mapping the past’ by Charles Drazin published by Penguin books. The author’s grandmother was Amelia Mcinerney from Quin, County Clare.Amelia married Patrick Lynch, after WW1. Other mcinerney siblings were Elena or Ellie, Annie (the eldest) and Ettie. There were no brothers.
After marriage, Patrick and Amelia lived by the River Rine In Bridge House which had been inherited from Amelia’s parents. My mother was Nora Mcinerney but from Clonderlaw on the other side of Ennis.
Good luck with your searches
