Murphy/Carey

I have located possible death certificates for my great grandparents but have hit a wall in trying to find out birth records and a marriage record for them. 

My great grandfather Patrick Murphy died in Dec 1952 aged 74 which if his age is correct means he would have been born around 1878. His father we believe to have been called Michael with the nickname 'Ceol Fear'.                                        My great grandmother Catherine 'Kate' Carey died in January 1973 and is recorded as being 88 therefore putting here as born in 1884 or 1885.            They had their first child William around 1912 or 1913 and he died in 1945 and is buried in Kilbehenny cemetery. I assume that they would have married a year or so before this. They lived in Mitchelstown and as far as we know all their children were born in Mitchelstown but family rumour suggests that they may have been from Limerick possibly Galbally.
