Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Is Julia/Julie alive? We don't look for individuals who may be living for privacy reasons.Do you know her father's name? I will alert our parish liaison for Tralee about your message.

I believe Julia/julie died in 2000.
Her father's name was patrick shanahan.
They lived at shanakeale which I believe is a property in castlemaine. -
Hi Shana, this is the marriage of Patrick Shanahan and Margaret Dowd
They did not marry in Tralee but in St. Gobinet's Church in Castlemaine. The marriage was only registered in Tralee Civil Registration District.
In the 1911 Census this looks like your Patrick
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Kerry/Kilgarrylander/Shanakeal/280454/
and this looks like Margaret's family in 1911

You could contact the Civil Registration office in Roscommon for Julia's birth certificate, do ask for a research copy as it is substantially cheaper. Telephone: Direct Dial: +353(0)90 6632900 LoCall: 1890 252076 Online we only have access to births prior to 1916. Or you could search records manually in Dublin.
You will be able to go back further by checking the 1901 Census which is available online free of charge. And you can also check the Kerry Church records online.
The marriage Cert of Maurice Dowd and Mary Griffin, Margaret's parents is rich in information.
I hope this helps but you may already have all this information as your enquiry is so brief I could not tell.
warm wishes

Hi thanks for all the information.
Do you have any records of julia/julie getting married or having children or moving to England -
Hi Shana,
if you search the free Civil Registration Records at irishgenealogy.ie you may find a marriage for Julia if she married in Ireland. Births are not available online beyond 1916 because of the 100 yr privacy rule (although familysearch.org may have indexes of births which might help you). Movement between Ireland and England is open so there are not records that I know of that you could search.
Good luck with the rest of your search Shana. There are several groups on Facebook which may be able to give you more help than we can here.
Warm wishes
