Hello,
My Grandfather was Thomas Dillon, Grandmother was Mary (Molly) Dillon nee: Noone
Great granparents (fraternal) : Patrick Dillon and Maria Dillon nee: Hession
I believe that I saw that a Mary Hession aged 90 was in their household in the 1911 census, listed as mother in law.
I'm hoping to get to Ballygar later this year, perhaps find a gravesite too.

John:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Here is the 1911 census record and her name was Anne Hession. She died less than two months after the 1911 census was taken. Interestingly, they showed her age as 80. You will have to sign-in to see the record.

Thanks so much for that quick reply. I came back to the board because I realized that I gave some mixed up info on my grandmother's lineage. Mary/Molly Dillon was Nee: Brannelly not Noone, Her mother was Noone, so my great grandmother was Noone. The great grandfather was (I believe) Patrick Brannelly.
Btw I have a printout of the census page for the Dillon cottage itself and it absolutely shows 90 years old so maybe the census taker wrote it down incorrectly.
Thanks again for the info.

John:
The age on the death record would have come from Patsy Dillon as the informant and he or his wife provided the age for the 1911 census. Exactness of ages was not that important back then.
