Looking for any information about my ancestor, Mary Theresa O'Neil, b. 1878, Killorglin, Kerry, Ireland, d. 1955, Waltham, Ma. (parents Edward O'Neil and Bridget Donahue). Mary O'Neil married William O'Brien, Waltham, Ma. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Mary was born November 16, 1877. See link below. You will have to sign-in to see the record. They lived in a townland called Knockyline in Killorglin civil parish. In the 1901 and 1911 censuses, the surname was Neil or Neill. Bridget had seven children and they were married around 1876.
Let me know if you have questions.

Hi,
I believe Bridget and Edward had 8 children based on the birth certs & aptismal records and the census records. Details below:-
Margaret (Maggie) b. 22nd April 1891 birth cert
Bridget 1st November, 1883 birth cert (although the Census records for 1901 has her born 1886)
Catherine (Katie) 1st November 1879 birth cert
William 15th October, 1886 birth cert
John 1st February, 1882 birth cert
Beatrice circa 1887 based on 1901, unable to locate birth record or baptismal record for Beatrice but she is mentioned in the 1911 Census as being age 24. Her birth might not have been registered. The census records could be out by a couple of year in terms of ages as you will see the ages for Edward & Bridget in 1901 were at 45 but in 1911 there was 5 years between them!
Gerald 5th October 1886 baptismal record
Michael 29th September 1888 birth cert
Kind regards,
AOS
Ann

Hi there,
William was improperly translated from latin, and is accidentally recorded in the parish records as Gerald.
Thus Gerald is the same person as William
