My great great great grandfather, Pierce Doran, died at his home on Ball Alley Lane, New Ross in 1872. I am curious to know if anyone else has traced ancestors to Ball Alley Lane and/or has early photos of the Lane.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Hopefully someone will see your message and post a comment. In the interim, can I suggest that you check with the library branch in New Ross. They may have info on 19th century pictures of Ball Lane.

just in case it helps link up with any other families with links to Ball Alley Lane, New Ross.
The Lane was quite small, see c1890 OSI map, just 9 houses at the time of Griffith's Valaution in 1853, 4 of wihch were vacant.
