My grandfather Patrick McMahon was born in Ballyveane on January 11, 1883 to Michael McMahon and Mary Hefferan. MIchael McMahon was born on October 28, 1853 in Tuuneenaum to John and Bridget Duddy. Was wondering if any of these families still reside in the area to help trace back family ancestry.

I just realise that my post did not send for some reason. The townlands you refer to near Clonbur are spelled Ballyweeaum and Tumneenaun in the census of 1901/1911. and Clonbur as Cloonbur.
There is no McMahons listed in either townland, however in the towland of Ballard there is a familly listed, this townland is beside Tumneenaun
