Looking for any information on this person and his ancestery.

Thomas Tully (b abt 1806, Bunclody, Wexford) married Ann Wall about 1840.  May have been married in Ontario, Canada as first child born in 1841 was born in Canada.  Their children were:

Thomas Tully 1841–1911

Henry Tully 1842–1925

Mary Ann Tully 1847–1889

Edward Tully 1847–

Ellen Tully 1852–1926

William Tully 1854–1926

John R. Tully 1858–1885

Joseph Moorehouse Tully 1858–1938

Family history states Thomas was the name of Thomas Tully’s father.

  • Do you know what denomination your Tully family were ?

    I found an 1886 Ontario marriage for Joseph Moorehouse Tully which matches the details for your family and he's shown as Episcopalian, which would be Church of Ireland here...

    Transcripts of the records for the Church of Ireland parish of Bunclody are included on the Anglican Record Project and these go back to the very early 1800s. The Bunclody transcripts include a number of Tully records but I dont see a match for your Thomas - Bunclody Transcripts (see pg. 139)

    This family were Church of England in 1861 in Canada.

    I do not have a documented source of the parish - so going by what someone else had researched (but no source citation)
