Researching John and Joanna(nee Noonan) Fitzgerald m 5 March 1878 in Galbally and Aherlow Limerick and Tipperary trying to locate any famiy of this couple and think maybe one or both had been married previously!

I think the gremlins got into my original post! It was meant to read Hugh & Johanna (Noonan) Fitzgerald and as I only have one known child ‘John’ of this couple and he appears to be born circa 1860 Hugh & Johanna may have been married late 1858/60 where I have no idea but according to’Johns’ marriage certificate in Wagga Wagga NSW Australia in 1889 he came from Victoria Australia. I cannot find any record in Australia of this family until John marries! While there are plenty of ‘John Fitzgerald’s’ immigrating to Australia cannot link any with certainty. Older family have no info except they felt the family came from around Tipperary, Ireland. Maybe your Margaret Noonan will hold some answers it’s certainly like looking for needles in a hay stack!
