Unfortunately the Clonbur records for Clonbur don't start on roots until 1851

Bridget Murphy with father Patrick is of course an extremely common name; are you sure she was born in exactly 1836?

Thank you for find this for me!  No, I am not positive about her birth date.  I took it from her death cert, died 1910 at 74 years.  My GGM was her first born child in 1860.

 I had found a marriage for Michael and Bridget 1864 or 1865 but lost it and couldn;t find it again.  A marriage for Michael Kineavy and Bridget Cavenagh 13 May 1865 Galway, Clonbur, Cornamona keeps comong up.

Funny that the sponsor's name of Keary.  It's so close to my father's old friend Henry Geary.

Just saw this.

There are Kinneavy families in the 1911 census in Cahergal Clonbur Ded Cloonbur and Dooras Corrnamona Ded Cong, both in Count Galway. 

There are still famileis in the area today. You refer to Patrick in 1878 and Mary Halloran and a Beatrice Bridget Watters, were they both married to him?. There is only one Waters family in the area who resided in Corrnamona. Halloran is usually spelled as Holleran and Cavanagh as Kavanagh, and there are many families with this surname.

Yes, Michael Kanavey’s 7th child, Patrick b-1878 Ardarrie, Galway, did marry twice.  First wife Margaret Halleran 1880-1915.  Four children: Margaret Marie 1906-1982,  John Joseph 1907-1968, Thomas Edward 1909-1990, Loretta V  Kinevey 1914-1995.

Second wife Beatrice Bridget Waters 1891-1935.   Ten children: Elenor, Mary, Helen, Leo, Dolores, Rita, Beatrice G., Betty, Gerald, and Joseph.

There is another Halleran connection.  1910 census, Edward Halleran (22) was staying with my great grandparents Patrick Healey 1854 and Mary Kanavey 1864, in Wilkes Barre, Luzerne Co, Pennsylvania, and as a cousin.
