Dia duit! I'm not sure if anyone looking here may be searching the same family as I am, or might have ideas on where/how to find additional information I am looking for. Family lore has always had our O'Connor line as being from Clare, most likely Killaoe. I can find no information to substantiate this. As far back as we can go is John O'Connor, born around 1811. I was able to find what I believe is his marriage record (to Annie Walsh) and the birth record of his first born, Edward (1851). These are from Silvermines, Tipp. I've no parents names for either John or Annie, though I do believe Annie may have had a sister Mary, as a Mary Walsh was both a wedding witness and a baptism sponsor. I have search everywhere I can think to find proof of our connection to Killaloe and have so far been unable. Just wondered if anyone here might have information on the family? Many thanks!
