I believe that the recently deceased James O'Connor (age 88, born in Tiermaclane Ballyveskil) is descended from one the brothers-in-law of my great aunt, Anne Kelly O'Connor.  Anne was married to Michael O'Connor of Tiermaclane Ballyveskil some time in 1900.  They are to be found in the 1901 Census of Ireland where they are living with Michael's parents and brothers on their farm in Tiermaclane.  Michael, Anne, and their son, Joseph Patrick, left Ireland for the U.S. in June of 1902.

What would be the best way for me to get in touch with Mr. O'Connor's descendants?  My email message to the funeral home was not answered, so other suggestions are very much welcome.  I am planning a visit to County Clare next spring and would be ever-so-happy to meet up any members of the extended family.

Thank you,

Karen
