Hi, my wife's great great grandmother died in Muckross, Killarney in January 1885. For some reason, she is not in the grave with her husband, who died in 1874 (he is in Killegy graveyard by the Herbert memorial). They were originally from Aberdeen, so I do not think she would have been taken back there. They were both Church of Ireland. I have an extract from irishgenealogy.ie which has a book number, page, entry number and record identifier. Would I be able to order this online, and would it give details of where she is buried? Would the record still be held in a church somewhere? Many thanks, John

Death records show location of death, date, cause and informants name and in this case her son John. Death records do not show where the person was buried.
You may want to contact the Anglican church in the Killarney area and see if they can assist with the burial place for Eliza.

Many thanks for the response. Thank you also for the link. I have both the public death certificate extract and church burial record from that website.
I am led to believe from links to the Anglican church website that no records exist for the Muckross area for that period. I received an email from the Rector of Killarney stating that there are no extant registers pertaining to Muckross near Killarney.
