McMahon Family

Many thanks for your post to the Ireland Reaching Out message board and welcome to the site!  I have found a 1901 Census reference to Mary McMahon and her family.  They were living at House no. 16 at Currakyle townland in the DED of Cloonusker.  The link is here:  http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Clare/Cloonusker/Currakyle/1085077/    In the 1911 Census, they were also here at:  http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Clare/Cloonusker/Corrakyle/368256/  There is a civil marriage record for Margaret McMahon and Michael Noonane dated 10 June 1920 where they married in the Church in Tuamgraney.  You should be able to find further information about this family through the Civil records which are free to view on Irish Genealogy.  The website address is:  https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp

Jane, thanks for your reply and help.  I have been able to piece together most of my Mcmahon clan using the web sites you referenced. However, I have never been able to find much on the children of Timothy Mcmahon and Mary Horton ( Horan) that stayed in  Ireland, Tim, John, and Michael.  I was hopeful that someone could help me in that area. I would love to find and establish contact with any living descendents of these three..

That is great news Jane.  At the present time I have no plans on traveling to ireland but that might change if I find I have living relatives in the Emerald isle.   If you find that any of your contacts have an internent connection I would love to have  it.  Thanks again for your help.   This has been a long journey !!!!!!
