I need help going back to my 4th and 5th great grandparents. My third Great grandfather is Michael "Patrick or John" Halloran b. abt. 1811 County Clare. His wife may have been Bridget Daly or a Walsh????? Not sure. My 2nd great grandfather is Patrick aka John Halloran b. abt 1835 County Clare and married to Mary Catherine Keehan. I think my 4th great grandparents may have been Pat Halloran b.abt 1780 and Margaret Quirk or Whelan b.abt 1790???????

Dear Jane:
Welcoome to the Ireland Reaching Out message board. I believe that we have met through some of the DNA groups online as well as having a DNA match. The Keehan name that you mention was very common in the Crusheen (civil parish of Inchicronan) area. Those records only begin in 1860, but you might look through the Clare Library website as well as the NLI parish registers for Crusheen to see if you can make any connections. For Michael "Patrick or John" Halloran born about 1811, do you have a death date for him? If not, have you checked the Civil Death records through the Irish Genealogy website? The link is here: https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/
You might also consider creating an Ancestor profile on the site through the XO Chronicles tab at the top of this page. If you need any further help, please let me know.
Kind regards,
Jane
