Hi there!
Researching some family history and I have identified a family from Killenaule, Co Tipperary.
The furthest couple I can find are a Daniel Delany and Judith/Jude Driscol who were born around 1820 and married in 1838 and had several (4-5) children before coming to the US via Canada, eventually settling in central Illinois.
I am hoping to find more information about the Delany and Driscol families, but there seem to be several people who could fit the bill and be part of the same family. Would appreciate suggestions for searching for records. I currently am mainly on Ancestry for information.
Thanks in advance,
Amber

Thanks for the reply.
I have found some of those records, but part of my issue is that there are 3 Daniel Delanys born around the same time frame of 1819-1821 in co Tipperary, but none born exactly in Killenaule, but possibly nearby. I'm just not familiar enough with the history to know if there was migration or whatnot to bring them to Killenaule a few years later where my Daniel marries and has children.
Right now, I'm working with DNA to hopefully find more matches, but some of this relies on other people having information and well-developed trees to make the connection.
I'll keep digging at this brick wall. It will crumble eventually.
