Ann Jane Hutchinson was from Cordrummond, Armagh, born in 1849, one of three siblings. I am looking for any information connecting to her. Thank you!

Griffiths Valuation for Cordrummond has just 1 Hutchinson household in 1864. That was plot 12 which was held by John Hutchenson. It contained a house (noted as unfinished), outbuildings and 18 acres of land. (That property today is up a lane off the B78 Mowhan Rd).

The property stays in John’s name till 1871 when it changes to Sarah (suggesting he had died), then in 1881 to William S Hutchinson (who appears to be his son); then in 1884 to Eliza H (William’s wife) and finally in 1890 to James Wallace.
Sarah Hutcheson died 19.7.1878 aged 67. She was a widow. Her son William was the informant.
William S Hutch died 25.1.1883 aged 47. Probate abstract from PRONI wills site:
Letters of Administration (with the Will annexed) of the personal estate of William Sheilds Hutcheson otherwise William S. Hutchinson late of Cordrummond County Armagh Farmer deceased who died 25 January 1883 at same place were granted at Armagh to Elizabeth Hutcheson of Cordrummond the Widow and a Legatee.
The will is on-line on the PRONI wills site and mentions his wife as well as his sister Mrs McKee living in England. That Mrs Mckee appears to be your Ann Jane Hutchinson who married John Mckee, a joiner & builder, on 30.10.1877 at Ballylane Covenanter church. Tradition was to marry in the bride’s church, so that may be the family church. Ann Jane’s father was John H, farmer. She lived in Cordrummond at the time of the marriage.
Ballylane’s marriage records only start in 1870. It doesn’t appear to have any baptism records. It amalgamated with Ballenon in 1912.
What else would you like to know?

Elwyn,
Wow! Thank you so much for all these details! I will certainly follow up with those sites and further the research! It would be great to determine more about John Hutchenson- you've provided some great resources and I appreciate your assistance very much! Are there any specific cemetary records I could search through to find out more where John H could be buried? Thank you!

MS,
According to the Ulster Historical Foundation site, there are graveyards at Kilclooney Church of Ireland, Redrock Presbyterian, Cladymore Presbyterian, and a mixed denomination in Kilclooney (townland of KIlbracks) plus Ballylane Reformed Presbyerian. I would start with Ballylane but would also try the others if you don’t find the family there. It was common for Presbyterians to be buried in Church of Ireland graveyards. People weren’t always buried in the graveyard of the church they attended. Firstly, not all churches had a graveyard and secondly, many families had plots in unexpected places eg where ancestors used to live. So they can be hard to track down.
There’s no requirement to record where someone is buried in Ireland and few graveyards kept burial records in the 1800s so tracing graves can be difficult.
There are numerous pay to view sites such as the Ulster Historical Foundation but no one site has all the graveyards transcribed, nor have all been transcribed, and often the only option is to visit them yourself.
